Tailored Speech and Language Therapy for individual children, designed and delivered by a SALT specialist.
As well as supporting provision, we work with education, health and social care organisations to provide speech and language therapy services for individual children and young people. We can work collaboratively or independently to suit your capacity, resources and service delivery preferences.
We work with children and young people of all ages and have a detailed understanding of the nuances that make a big difference when it comes to making progress with speech, language and communication challenges. Speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) evolve as children grow, and support requirements change at each stage of development – our services respond to these changing needs.
In early years settings, we work with nurseries, early years providers, and health and social care teams to support toddlers and pre-school children in developing foundational communication skills. Our team of therapists carry out assessments, deliver targeted interventions, and provide training to support young children and build their skills for the next stage of their education. Working closely staff and families, our aim is to give children the best possible start.
For primary school children, we aim to address the speech, language and communication needs that impact children’s literacy, learning, and social development. Our team provides assessments, 1:1 and, group-based interventions, and classroom support to help children overcome communication barriers and engage with learning.
In secondary schools and further education settings, we support young people with increasingly complex communication demands. Many teenagers with SLCN can struggle with social language, peer relationships, and the academic pressures of secondary education. Working as a partner to education, health and social care organisations, we help teenagers improve their communication skills and manage SLCN effectively, enabling them to build confidence and improve attainment.
For older students and young adults, we provide specialist support that addresses both ongoing speech and language challenges and the wider impact of communication difficulties. Working with colleges, care providers, local authorities, and NHS services, we focus on preparing young people for their next step and supporting their wellbeing, independence, and social participation.
