Speech & Language Therapy for Education, Health & Social Care
Our team work with a wide range of education, health and social care organisations to support the speech, language and communication needs of children and young people. We can help with individual children and young people or provide whole setting support for entire environments. We work with organisations including:
Schools
We work in partnership with schools to support pupils with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), delivering whole setting support and support for individuals. Our therapists can deliver in-school assessments, 1:1 or group-based interventions, staff training and ongoing services to help teachers and teaching assistants identify and support children with challenges. Our approach helps pupils to access the curriculum more effectively, build confidence, and develop the communication skills needed for learning and social interaction.
Colleges
For colleges, we provide specialist support to help young people with SLCN adapt to academic and social environments. We provide whole setting support and support for individuals, and our services include assessments, interventions, therapy and staff training to embed communication-friendly strategies across teaching and pastoral care. By supporting students to strengthen communication, language and social interaction skills, we help colleges improve inclusion, wellbeing and academic achievement.
Care Providers
We help residential and care providers to meet the communication needs of children and young people in their care. We provide whole setting support and support for individuals, and our services cover every aspect of speech and language therapy including assessment, interventions, tailored support and staff training. Our aim is to equip care staff with practical tools to improve everyday interactions, reduce frustration, manage behaviour linked to communication difficulties, and empower young people to be heard and understood in these settings.
Local Authorities
Our team is highly experienced in providing local authorities with flexible speech and language therapy services that meet statutory requirements and align with SEND strategies. We provide whole setting support and support for individuals, and can deliver assessments, reports for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), interventions, and training. We can scale our support to meet local authorities’ specific requirements to reduce waiting lists, improve outcomes for children and young people, and meet compliance obligations.
NHS
We can support NHS speech and language therapy provision with additional capacity and specialist expertise, delivering whole setting support and support for individuals. Working collaboratively, we enable continuity of care and increased availability of speech and language therapy for children and young people. As well as assessments, interventions and therapy, we can provide training to build internal capabilities and alleviate the pressures of waiting lists.
