Nicole Walsh

Nicole is one of the Speech and Language Therapists based in mainstream primary schools. Nicole became a Speech and Language Therapist to enhance the communication skills of individuals and those supporting them. 

Nicole qualified with a BA International in English Literature and Sociology at the University of Ireland Maynooth in 2012. She then dedicated 10 years to teaching English as a second language (ESL) in Ireland and the UK, working with individuals with a range of language backgrounds and communication needs. Over time, this led Nicole to expand her skills and knowledge, and she qualified with a BSc(Hons) Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Manchester in 2023. 

During her studies, Nicole worked as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant (SLTA) for a Highly Specialist paediatric Speech and Language Therapist in Manchester. Keen to continue working with children, their families and teaching staff, Nicole joined SpeechWise in 2023. She has thoroughly enjoyed working in a team of talented and devoted Therapists who share a passion for working collaboratively with young people to achieve their individualised speech, language and communication goals. 

In her free time, Nicole immerses herself in art, music and the outdoors.

Nicole is registered with the HCPC, RCSLT, and holds an Enhanced DBS check.
