About Hayley...
Hayley is a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist Assistant with a passion for supporting young people to develop their communication, confidence, and independence. With a degree in Media and Performance and a strong background in SEND education, Hayley has worked across mainstream and specialist settings supporting young people aged 11–19 with a range of additional needs.
Throughout her experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Hayley has provided one-to-one and small group support, adapting communication strategies to meet individual needs and ensure all young people can access learning and express themselves effectively. She has also facilitated SEND-focused performing arts workshops, using creative and inclusive approaches to support social interaction, self-expression, and confidence building.
Hayley is now beginning her role as a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant, where they are looking forward to supporting the delivery of interventions and working collaboratively with therapists, education staff, and families. They are particularly passionate about using creative approaches, including drama and performance, to engage young people who may find traditional communication methods more challenging.
Committed to person-centred practice, Hayley aims to create safe, supportive environments where every individual feels heard, valued, and empowered to find their voice.
