Geeta
Speech & Language Therapist
About Geeta...
Geeta is a committed and experienced speech therapist who has been practising since 2016. After qualifying, she spent two years working within the NHS, gaining valuable experience in a variety of clinical settings. In 2018, Geeta joined SpeechWise, where she has continued to develop her passion for supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs.
At SpeechWise, she enjoys being able to take a child-centred approach to therapy, working closely with schools and families to ensure tailored support for each child’s unique needs. Her philosophy centres around meeting children at their current level of communication to foster growth and confidence.
Geeta’s top tip for encouraging communication skills in young people is to create a safe space for them to be themselves, find out what they want to achieve and help them to achieve it.
Outside work, Geeta likes playing the violin, reading and taking leisurely walks in scenic places.
Geeta is registered with the HCPC, RCSLT, and holds an Enhanced DBS check.
