On-Demand Training: Formats & Options
Our On-Demand Training courses are designed and presented by our Speech and Language Therapists, who are working with children on a daily basis in schools and homes. Recorded as presentations, the courses take two formats which are available by subscription or one-off purchase:
Micro trainings
Micro trainings are a big idea in a small package! Through our regular work in schools we realised that there isn’t always time or opportunity for teaching staff to sit down with a SALT to gain some immediate knowledge about a communication difficulty that a child may have and hear some quick top tips as to how to help. In-depth training sessions are really useful, but sometimes you need a bit of quick, instant information to be going on with. Micro-trainings are it!
In-depth training
As the name suggests, these trainings go more into the theory behind the particular subject, symptoms and implications of a particular difficulties, plus useful strategies and interventions. They can be watched over time as stand-alone trainings, or combined to train groups of staff during a twilight session.
