Live Training

We are always delighted to provide live training to schools, nurseries, health units, care homes or other organisations. We are happy to offer this via webinar or in person, provided that we have a trainer in your area. All our live training is devised and delivered by qualified, experienced speech and language therapists.

ELKLAN

Elklan training offers accredited, practical courses for professionals who support children and young people with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) in early years, school and other educational settings. Our core and specialist programmes build knowledge and confidence in identifying SLCN and using evidence‑based strategies to develop understanding, interaction and communication across the day. Talkboost

Talk Boost is a structured, evidence‑based intervention programme designed to help children with delayed speech, language and communication skills take part more fully in classroom learning and social interaction. Developed by the children’s communication charity I CAN, it provides session plans, resources and guidance so staff can deliver small‑group language support on a rolling basis within their own setting.

Makaton

Makaton training introduces a structured communication programme that uses speech, signs and symbols to support understanding and expression for children and young people with communication difficulties. Our training helps staff and families learn practical signs and symbols they can use in everyday situations, building a shared way of communicating across home, school and the wider community.
